Bio

I’m Daniela Vladimirova. I was born in Bulgaria in 1979, but moved to Italy with my family in my early teens. All my teachers hated me because I never listened to them but still managed to do good at school. That’s what I call acerbic top grades. I started working early and have so far earned money as a translator, web & graphic designer, linguistic consultant, project coordinator, part of Villa Celimontana Jazz Festival organization staff, interpreter, photographer, English & Italian teacher, waitress, model, part of University administrative staff, proof-reader and singer. I also managed to get a BA in English Lit in 2005.

I work at home, mainly as a translator. I love music. I love words. I love presents. I like lists. I write bios. I take self portraits. I torture the people I love because I want to take pictures of them. I love driving with my dog beside me. I’m chilly. I still have to figure out what to put in my “I hate” list.
